We are looking for a Project Engineer with four to eight years of experience to take on daily project delivery across our water and wastewater treatment portfolio.
Role Description
The Project Engineer will be responsible for daily project tasks, including project engineering, project planning, report writing, development of design calculations, permitting and regulatory project support in working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), project environmental clearance, innovative technology pilot testing, design support, procurement support, construction administration, commissioning, and project closeout.
The Project Engineer will work closely with a diverse team of professionals to provide innovative, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions customized for each client. The majority of projects will focus on water and wastewater treatment, including desalination, reuse, membrane filtration, membrane bioreactors, biological nutrient removal, sequencing batch reactors, brackish groundwater, saline groundwater, seawater, and surface water treatment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in project engineering and project planning preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment engineering principles preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or electrical engineering or a related field, with 4–8 years of experience preferred, but not required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas preferred, or EIT at a minimum.
- Experience in the civil, environmental, or electrical engineering industry preferred, with a focus on water and/or wastewater treatment, collection, or distribution, but not required.
