Location: Edinburg, TX · Type: Full-time, on-site with some work-from-home flexibility
We are looking for a Project Manager with a Texas PE license and two to three years of project management experience to own delivery on our water and wastewater treatment projects.
Role Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of engineering projects, including junior engineer training, report writing, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) review, development of design calculations and review of calculations by other staff, support of permitting and regulatory project tasks, support of project environmental clearance tasks, development of innovative technology pilot testing protocols, support and QA/QC review of design deliverables, client support during procurement, client assistance during construction phases, commissioning assistance, and project closeout.
This role includes high-level coordination with senior team members, training of junior team members, and frequent coordination with clients and stakeholders. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Project engineering and project management skills.
- Experience in project planning and/or civil, environmental, or electrical engineering.
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or electrical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects preferred, but not required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is required.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater industry standards and regulations; experience with Texas regulations preferred, but not required.
- 2–3 years of project management experience.
